Lifelong learning

Lifelong learning

We believe that learning goes beyond the time we spend at school.

At ֱschools, we equip our students with the knowledge, tools, and mindset to develop skills for life.

International opportunities

We offer our students opportunities to participate in our International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) programmes. ֱstudents around the world have the chance to connect with each other through our specially designed beyond-the-classroom experiences.

ILOS programmes are a chance for students to pursue their passions and develop their skills while learning how to be confident, global citizens. From leading a film crew, to taking the first steps into unknown cultures, each of our ILOS programmes is designed to shape our students’ life skills. We focus on developing cognitive awareness, interpersonal skills, digital fluency, self-leadership, and global competence: all crucial life skills.

ILOS students who took part told us that they:

Increased their capacity to work in teams and solve conflicts collaboratively

Saw improvement in expressing their ideas creatively and effectively

Have a greater understanding of others’ world views

Felt they have gotten better at identifying their own areas of growth

Felt more aware of the impact they can have in their own community, the planet, and cultures

Became more aware of global issues and how to create sustainable change

Our students highly value these programmes:

of students said they have changed their behaviour as a result of the programme

felt they had more agency to make change

discovered ֱEM career options they did not know about

feel more hopeful about the future

ILOS students who took part told us that they:

When a student joins an ֱschool, they become part of a global community of over 70,000 students and 10,000 colleagues committed to improving their academic, physical, social and emotional learning.

They will develop in a safe, caring and inclusive environment. Every day, they get to engage in learning experiences that have a positive, long-lasting impact on their learning, personal development and overall wellbeing.

Our students highly value these programmes

When learning is at the heart of every decision we make, our schools are always improving. Our teachers have the support and resources they need to best support and engage each individual student.

of schools that build talent and embed quality”.
Alejandra Moreno, Head of School, ITJ Valle Real, Mexico

We recognise the importance of our schools in their local communities. That’s why they retain their unique character, existing branding and bespoke curriculum offering when they join ISP. At the same time, ֱschools can leverage the power of our global network and access to shared ideas, knowledge and experiences.

Being a part of this program has helped me in things I didn't imagine it would, because of ISP, I haven't just learned about the environment and how to be more eco-friendly, but I have also earned new friends, skills to plant, skills to talk in public and even motivated me to come to school.
